Anyone else hate trees?

I just don't like using them in my town. They're too big, they block views, and I just don't like them, I'd much rather decorate with shrubs and flowers.


Anyone else feel like this? How have you managed to work trees into your town?

I love my trees but I can see why you wouldn't like them!! They take up so much room and block views all the time,, I know Im going for a foresty vibe but sometimes Im just like "AAAAAAAA" and wish there weren't so many trees LOL

I love trees but moving them and I have to keep putting space for them since Ninty says "duhuhh no storing trees in storage"?? Now that's when I feel real annoyed with trees. LOL RIP.

Yeah, i don't like when they block my view too, and that is why i am very particular about where i place them. I have been like this since NL. Thank god for bushes! I replaced lots of my trees with them.

I personally like the cedar trees more than the regular trees, but trees in general I neither like nor dislike truth be told.

I’ve got a fruit tree orchard on the left and right side of my Residential Building plaza, and I have stone decor part up on a cliff with the Stonehenge surrounded with cedar trees. Other than that, the trees are just there until I can think of doing something specific

I love trees. You can just eat something and pick them up (fully-grown) if you want to transfer them to another place. Very convenient.

The only thing that annoys me about them is how you can't plant them if there's not an empty square in each direction I always have to make the cliffs bigger than needed just because of the trees

I have this gorgeous area by Audie's beach house that feels empty without palm trees on the left. I am the opposite. I need trees to feel whole, lol.

I hate orchards b/c they take up a lot of space, but I love trees. I kinda like how they obscure the view of the things in the background. I feel like it's especially helpful on flatlands, to give a difference in height. I think, however, I only have one hardwood tree on my island, and the rest are cedars and peach trees.

I'm not a huge fan of the way that bushes look, but I'm leaving some of them with the hope that they rub off on me.

I like the trees but yeah, they do obstruct a lot of the view. I decided to line my cliffs with them though so they don't take up as much random space.

On my Island we stan trees. They're everywhere and I'm surprised Isabelle hasn't complained to me about them yet lmao.

Plus fruit trees are my main source of currency outside of trading so...

I wish there was a way for them to disappear if you're trying to look at stuff behind them. I've had my fair share of times where fossils and other stuff were behind a tree and I couldn't see it because they were in the way x.x

I try to be strategic with my tree placement. Rather than having an orchard, I use fruit trees instead of normal trees. But I keep some for cherry blossoms and fall. I also avoid having trees all clumped together.

I love the way they look during the different seasons. Especially the pink ones during cherry blossoms season, and the snow covered ones! But otherwise, I agree that they do block my view too often and sometimes I just want to chop them all down and be done with them forever lol

Trees aren't so bad, you can get bugs, sticks wood ect from them. What is annoying are buildings. The amount of times a tarantulas have completely ganked me because of the blind spots behind them :S

i love trees but i can understand why you’d hate them - it’s a pain trying to see behind them and they definitely do block your view ;u;
