Anyone else feeling burned out?

The thing is I'm not rly in quarantine since i'm a healthcare worker and right now I'm working around 50 hrs a week bc of the Mess. So I've been coming home for work every day rly hype to play but today I just hit a wall like... I played new leaf for a long long LONG time because I loved it and I didn't even know you could time travel. There was so much to do and I feel like now the only thing to do is collect furniture and attempt to terraform, but it's going to take a while because I have to move my villagers houses and demolish all my bridges Again. It's just very tedious and aside from eventually getting the shop upgrade, I feel like there's nothing to look forward to. I wish they would release some kind of schedule for if/when new stuff is coming like Fire Emblem did with there DLC waves.

Tbh, I have had school during the day and the time I play on ACNH still has me a little burned out. With that being said, I was waiting till Bunny Day was over to start progressing again, as I wanted the random egg gone, haha, so that's probably why I have felt like there's nothing to do as I haven't really progressed in roughly 2 ish weeks :v

I can feel burnt out for a day if I spend a lot of the day doing something, but I don't feel burnt out from the game itself at all. I still have a strong desire to play every day, but I'm taking my time doing things like landscaping and going for 5 star because I know I'll burn myself out if I'm not in the right mindset to work on it. If I feel myself hitting my limit, I'll take a break for anywhere from a couple hours to the rest of the day. There's no need for me to hurry as it's not a race to make the perfect island.

It's exactlywhat you say, it's not a race, i play every day but when i feel out i play something else for a few hours or the rest of the day. AC is a long waiting game. It's not meant to be played 15hours at a time, rather, it's enjoyable a few hours then break for the rest. And as you said it is NOT A RACE!

I’m not burned out yet despite having maybe around ~100 hours. Maybe it’s because I haven’t achieved 5 stars yet (which is my goal) or maybe I haven’t decorated all of my island yet (it’s still barren in some areas), or I just haven’t completed my house upgrades yet. I will admit, I am feeling a slight bit of boredom since I’m already reaching “endgame” in which there isn’t anything new yet to discover atm.

Edit: Forgot to add this but I plan on maybe going on a short break from the game or only limit myself to a daily routine (talk to all villagers, water flowers, hit rocks, etc etc) so I don’t burn myself out too quickly and allow myself to focus more on other hobbies rn.

I love collecting clothing and furniture. My island just hit 4-stars a couple of days ago. I only did a little bit of terra forming because I kinda like keeping my island very natural looking. I want to spread more hybrid flowers across my island. I'm just focusing on hybrids of roses and hyacinths for now but once I'm happy with those, I'm gonna do the other flowers too. I haven't burned out yet, I look forward to playing everyday!

....I should mention however, that I do work in healthcare and I still work 5 days a week. I don't get a ton of time to spend on the game to feel burned out. :)

I play and then have to charge the Switch. I don't play all day, but in a handful of long periods.

I haven't really felt any burnout, but I've been playing a lot less lately because of Bunny Day and eggs. Finally tomorrow I can get wood and fish in peace. *big happy sigh*

yes!! it's definitely a great way to make money and i like that people can get their wishlist items!

it just wasn't for me because i always felt so overwhelmed and obligated to trade and sell to people the second they were ready and i did it all in one day. i think i personally feel more relaxed just playing through it day by day and just working towards making bells at my own pace but to each their own for sure!
I've been employing the same policy as this small ukyio-e museum (located somewhere in Japan) for most things in my life, and my AC shop isn't different lol.

I think you'd be fine if you also did this.

I just feel like I've done everything I can up to this point. I go on for maybe a half hour a day currently, water some plants, check the shops, talk to a couple of the villagers, go off. I took a dive in playing when the Bunny Day event started because it just got in the way so much and unless there's someone visiting (that isn't Wisp or Gulliver) I don't bother going on again.

I'm not really into the whole trading scene because everyone just hikes up prices in NMT to do anything, and I'm not about that grind, so I don't really bother with playing online unless I'm opening up my island for people to sell their turnips in.

It's probably the quickest I've felt burned out in an Animal Crossing game.

Grinding the cherry blossom recipes burned me out. Just waiting fir the balloons to appear, and it sucked it was tied into Bunny Day so I kept getting Sky Eggs. Only positive thing that came out was the Golden Slingshot recipe.

I'm not burn out one bit, probably have over 300 hours by now. I'm more underwhelm than anything. I think some of you guys are burn out because for 1) You aren't use to staying in door your whole life and 2) You want everything in the game (it meant to be a sun burn) and also you grind for NM+ and for me grinding is the opposite of fun. I never cry for anything, not even the Sakura DIY.

I haven't given into the craze of "MUST HAVE THIS RIGHT NOW" which is something I have promised myself when starting this title.
This has actually helped me not feel burned out at all and I look forward to waking up each day and going about my daily activities.
I check in several times each day and play for a few hours - if I feel there's nothing left to do that day, I just log off for the night.

I've done a few trades but not a crazy amount and have decided to stop for the time being as well. I have also held off scanning in amiibo villagers that I'd like as permanent residents on my island as I decided to try to explore a few more this time around.

I also don't TT but wouldn't want to lecture anyone about this as I know we all have our own opinions on the matter (some quite strong) - but TT'ing is kind of what killed NL for me in the long run, which is why I decided not to do it this time around.

I haven't time traveled, so only getting 1 new amiibo per 3 days, 5 Nook shopping items per day, moving 1 house per day, means it takes weeks to get something done. In the meantime, I have more time to grind bells and plan out my town.

I stop by my hybrid garden every few minutes and nab a bunch of peac0ck butterflies. :P

Not burned out, but I don't feel compelled to play hours on end now - I dig up fossils, harvest fruit, sell it off, catch a bug and fish or two, talk to the villagers, look for the random villager, hit the stones, and that's about it for the day.
