Anyone Else Failing Festivale?

Is there anyone else completing failing Festivale or is it just me
Im struggling to find any feathers, and its just annoying me..
I still have to go on Azalea too -.-

Hehe I've found 2 feathers and I'm rubbish at the games. I'm not expecting to do well with the pave series

Edit: I have no feathers. I'm failing. It's sad.

I keep find loads of feathers, I now have at least 2 of every item (except the clock and bed) but just need the chest to complete the set and still can't seem to get one

I wasn't doing so well in the beginning, apart from the games and trading. I found that putting the feathers you need at the time in storage is helpful, so you don't lose them in a game. Also, for me, going along my beach for feathers is helpful because they are easier to see, which if your town is like mine (covered in flowers and green grass where they blend in), is very helpful.

It's hard starting out, but eventually the feathers will appear more frequently & you can catch them for later. Then, once you get your current 3 colors & he asks for another color, you'll likely have 2-3 feathers of the new color.

I finished in about 4 hours, the amount of repeats he gives is absurd.

You can play games with your villagers for feathers if you can't seem to find any. The feathers they give you are random though.

I got so many duplicates from him that I decided to call it quits. I'm not even a fan of the set.
Finding feathers is not easy but I managed to find quite a few coloured and rainbow ones too. I found like a gazillion yellow ones and he never asked for them.

rock paper scissors
First round we both did Scissors
Second Round we both did Rock
Third round we both did Scissors
Fourth Round we both did Paper
Fifth Round i won with Scissors

I've got everything multiple times (I will be giving items away later tonight or tomorrow in the retail forum when I've sorted them out if anyone's interested ) except the wall and floor. Very frustrating .

I hate the fesivale in New Leaf lol
Feathers seem to be fall less and less frequently as the day goes on.
Also, why can't Pave give items in the set in order, rather than giving random items regardless of wherever the player has them already or not?]
I just need a chair and a lamp now, it's getting quite tedious...

Actually, I was doing fantastic, having over 16 items from the series (yes, duplicates) and finding feathers weren't much of a problem. I made over 200k from selling the Pave series and paid off the rest of the campsite. I was going to do more after school so I began to save and quit.
But I accidentally pressed the power button.
This happens so often it's not even funny. It's because as a previous owner of a DSi, I keep thinking thats where the staret button is. I'm going have to start all over after school.

I'm finding plenty of feathers...it's just that he keeps trying to give me a million pave walls and sofas. So I keep having to reset and then he changes the feather color. ;_;

I have like enough sofas to give one to every person on my block. T-T I got a rainbow feather and he gave me another sofa. Apparently Pave' thinks I need to be a couch potato.
