Anyone else dislike lazy personality due to potential childish dialogue lol?

I thought i'd still be keen on my old favs like Stitches/Zucker and/or Sherb my current lazy and just talking about bugs/burps like they're 5 year-olds who are excited about discovering for the first time HAHAHA. kinda off-putting to me as Crankies are nearest and dearest as the old, gruff and kindhearted mature ones lol. Anyone else in my mindset or you diggin' your chill bros?? any and all opinions welcome just curious on what your take on some of their NH dialogue has impacted your thoughts on them : ) I am potentially looking at this point w/ getting him out for a sweet normal Lolly or Merengue their dialogue makes me smile and feel warm & fuzzy haha.

However, I'm soon to get my hands on Beau, and eventually Lucky, when I can find him - I am worried that they won't have the same charm to me as they did in NL.

i never actually had a lazy villager before new horizons then i had got zucker as one of my first 5 villagers and i loved him so much, his personality made him seem so cute. i also got beau but didn't really like him that much for some reason, now i have stitches and his childish dialogue is so fitting with his look it's adorable

I actually like the childishness and they've always been my favorite personality in each game I've played because I think it's adorable--my problem is specifically the bug-obsession dialogue lol, it bumped them down to my 2nd or 3rd favorite personality for NH specifically.

the personality i'm not too crazy about personally is peppy. they really did make them more...... peppy. lmao. can't quite say i like it very much, it gets to be a little overwhelming

I love the lazy villagers the most I think! It's cute how they are borderline creepy, whatwith all the "bugs in my floor told me this and that" talk. It's just so bizarre and unexpected.

I feel like the normals could use a little more spice to them.. but I guess that's why they are classified as normal

LOL the irony I adore peppy Rosie stopped sending superficial letters and reminds me how much my friends love me <3 I always had a soft spot for Rosie gal : )

I actually love Smug hahaha Raymond is a wonder LOL <3 but I agree on Crankies for life, Gaston was my old flame of a buddy and I cried when he left <3 I also did not intend to start a who sucks more in personalities war guys please don't send hate on normals just because I love them ;; I find normal kind/sweet and caring I apologize for seemingly starting some flaming world war lol ORZ

I just started talking to lucky to see what he's gonna say and he said

- I love spring. it's warmer than winter and cooler than summer. It's like a ... green ... fall. and all the bugs who went on vacation during winter come home and tell me about their trips.

While I don't mind the constant food chatter some of the things they say about bugs is a little gross.

I’ll say the childishness makes them cuter especially Stitches where it really fits. They are a bit weirder with their bug talk but I still think it’s cute and funny. If any personality was downgraded it was Jock imo.

Lazys are cute. Erik just moved into my village this weekend and he's darling. Some of the random things they say can be so sweet.

The bug talk can be weird. I don't think I minded it as much when it came from Derwin (my first lazy villager) but it seems weird when Erik says anything about the bugs in his walls because his home interior has a snow theme to it. It seems weird there would be bugs there.

I actually agree with you. When my lazy villager started acting like a 5 years old boy for the first time I wasn't at all pleased tbh. Anyways, after a while you get used to it and eventually even enjoy it.

Sherb has said some relatable things haha, he hates community service and i'm just all in there with him LOL. I'll try and see if he grows on me otherwise I may still try to get Lolly or Merengue :' ) overall Lazies are still fab maybe just not my cup of tea lol o/
