The first person to work this out and PM me the answer, will recieve 1k TBT

A number's persistence is the number of steps required to reduce it to a single digit by multiplying all its digits to obtain a second number, then multiplying all the digits of that number to obtain a third number, and so on until a one-digit number is obtained. For example, 77 has a persistence of four because it requires four steps to reduce it to one digit: 77-49-36-18-8. The smallest number of persistence one is 10, the smallest of persistence two is 25, the smallest of persistence three is 39, and the smaller of persistence four is 77. What is the smallest number of persistence five?

This is one of the hardest mathematical puzzles of all time, I don't think it's likely that anyone will be able to solve it without google or coding before the deadline is up. ^_^

i know lua :^)

Alright, I'm gonna be gone for a few hours soon, but I might check in a couple of times lmao

heh i cant come up with a formula. i could just trial and error it but that would be hit or miss. pretty sure it will be a three digit number for the answer

I would be curious on how one obtains the answer without guessing or google......I played around a little trying to figure it out, before I gave up and went to google. I only found the answer on google, not a solution on how to get to it.

It just might be trial and error, but just curious myself.

wow, this is really difficult! Well done to anyone who can work this out without using the magical force that is google!
I might try, but I definitely won't be able to work it out >_<
