Amicitia - hugs - how does Telin fare in practical philosophy, though?

KAL. et A. D. IV NON. NOV. - November 1-2
With fall in full swing, Telin thought it appropriate to advance the construction of a jolly place of gathering and pleasure in our first harvest, the thermopolium at the steadily growing thermae.

As Persephone's divine blessing came upon us after the festivities, the plants at her sanctuary's entrance sprang into full bloom, right when the upper staircase finally gave access to the hilltop, the future site of her temple.

PRID. NON. NOV - November 4
Next in line, Telin filled in the way leading to the second temple in the sacred district, the Hephaisteion.

NON. NOV. - November 5
A lovely afternoon was spent celebrating dear Lobo's birthday, whom Norma had convinced to let her provide refreshments. He seemed rather uncomfortable, yet oddly adept in his suit, and ended the party to head out in the evening.

A. D. VIII ID. NOV. - November 6
A provisionary storefront was added to the thermae; meanwhile on the inside, the architecture of the caldarium (hot room) was considered.

A. D. VI ID. NOV. - November 8
With the plumbing on the inside being installed, Telin improved the outer portion of the thermae and added a hot bath next to the cool sea, fit for athletes training nearby.

PRID. ID. et ID. NOV. - November 12-13
With some final flourishes, the outer part of the thermae is now open for usage, featuring a natural walkway leading to the yet to be constructed posterior areas and inviting all to relax after submerging themselves in the sea or hot baths underneath the open sky.

The installation of the plumbing was finished and allowed for a first look at what is to become the caldarium.

A. D. XVIII KAL. DEC. - November 15
Fully in awe, Telin reported the sighting of a heavenly creature today, convinced it must have been Demeter come down from Olympus; sadly, she was whisped away just as fast as she had appeared, leaving the Representative to think that she is waiting for Helkaplont to prove itself.

A. D. VI KAL. DEC. - November 26
To show our gratitude for this bountiful harvest and to bid the Maiden farewell upon her journey to rejoin the Host of Many, the people of Helkaplont gathered at the forum and presented refined offerings, the ingredients of which were collected in ritual searches conducted by Representative Telin.

A. D. V KAL. DEC. - November 27
On the day of the Maiden's descent, Helkaplont witnessed its first snowfall, and the inhabitants devoted themselves to deep prayers.

Offerings.

Jolly gatherings to forget the cold...

KAL. DEC. - December 1
The people of Helkaplont seem to long for festivities to brighten the bleak winter month, and so Telin agreed to conceptualize such a celebration; however, neither Rural Dionysia nor Saturnalia have convinced the consultants so far, and they continued to decorate the island according to mindless practices.

A. D. III ID. DEC. - December 11
Helkaplont has turned a ghastly white color, and this saw an influx of immobile, yet highly communicative creatures, as Telin reported after we coaxed this information out of the Representative, unusually giddy. All we could see were haphazardly stacked snowballs, however.

ID. DEC. - December 13
Compared to Friga, Marshal seems to be giving Baabara an even harder time being her neighbor. We should preface this conversation with the notion that any kind of (not impious) venture is welcome on the island, and we're looking forward to Baabara's contributions to the ornamental design as well as Marshal's participation in our future plays.

A. D. XVIII KAL. IAN. - December 15
This questionable celebratory practice is spreading across the island as trees have been set ablaze. Angus attempted a compromise by gifting Telin with an ornamental wreath.


A. D. XVI KAL. IAN. - December 17
Lobo, city guard and curiously upset about this celebration, saw to it that Marshal would refrain from disturbing the harmony (Baabara) in which we seek to live.

A. D. XIII KAL. IAN. - December 20
While anybody interested was invited to join Cranston, seemingly becoming an avid party-goer, for Rudy's birthday games, a spirit of discordia ravaged the guards, as was evident in in Lobo, emotionally distraught and oddly busy around the forum.

A. D. IX KAL. IAN. - December 24
While half of the populace seemed dishonorably distracted by this so-called Santa, a sizable portion remained almost completely unfazed. Telin insisted on delivering those presents a reindeer with pervasive verbal tics (not called Santa, and not trustworthy) had given the Representative, who appeared surprised to receive gifts themself, in a Saturnalia-like fashion.

The stoic, commendable.	The mildly insulting.	Note: Santa must be a mere mortal.
Whence then, oh, this reverence, if his task is this easily fulfilled?	The mysterious. Have you, by any chance, had personal dealings with this Santa before?

A. D. IIX KAL. IAN. - December 25
The previous day's strange spirit lingered, and even the administrative head of Helkaplont was indisposed, having waited for Santa. Who, Telin reported, clearly infringed on their property, stuffing their socks (on the wall - as Lobo had persuaded Telin to do) with useless nothings, and must be found and questioned.

PRID. KAL. IAN. - December 31
By public vote it was decided to adhere to foreign traditions and end the year with the month of December. Having performed the purification rituals, Telin found the people of Helkaplont gathered at the forum, who chose to chase away the past year with noise. We took care not to let anyone lose their senses. May Helkaplont prosper!
