Animals/species with same personality but different tones of voice?

So I have Tasha and I noticed her voice sounds smaller, lighter, and a little more high pitched than my previous snooty villagers (Ankha and Freya). This is also the case with Marshal and Julian, in which Julian’s voice is a bit more lower toned and sounds more smooth than Marshal’s. There was also Tutu, whose voice was lower pitched than Bella’s.

I feel like having the same personality types is a little more easy for me to accept when the villagers sound different... So I was wondering if anyone else has this!

At the moment my doubles are Normal (Pekoe and Annalisa) and smug (Marshal and Julian). I think the tone of voice is different depending on the species, but I’d love to hear everyone else’s experiences with different voice tones!! There‘s a lot of species and I haven’t met all of them (Might be because I have 3 squirrels ooggh, I love them).

Yes I thought I was the only one who noticed this!! Ankha and Diana sound kinda similar but different and Mathilda sounded differently than both of them!

I noticed this at a friend's island where her bear villager had a deeper voice than her bird villager, both cranky.

Timmy has a lower voice than Tommy!

If New Horizons is like New Leaf,there should be two different voices for each personality type,one a lower pitch,the other a higher pitch.I first noticed it when I got Camofrog early on in New Leaf because his voice had a bit of a higher pitch than the the other crankies I had before him.

i noticed this, too! pekoe and bertha are both normals but pekoe’s voice is a lot quieter and softer than bertha’s voice aha

I love the fact that this is a thing!! I first noticed it with Pinky in my friend’s town— I thought I was hearing things at first but her voice was NOTICEABLY lower than my peppy (Audie)’s.

I’m also not sure about this but...Ankha’s voice just sounds worlds different from other snooties to me?? Even to villagers that would be considered similar in size to her, she just sounds incredibly different. I’m wondering if that would mean even certain villagers are supposed to have an individual twang to their voices??

There are 5 pitches of voices that the species have in the game

Highest Pitched: Birds, Ducks, Frogs, Hamsters, Mice, Squirrels

Higher Pitched: Cats, Cubs, Koalas, Penguins, Rabbits

Middle: Anteaters, Deer, Dogs, Monkeys, Octopuses, Pigs, Sheep

Lower Pitched: Alligators, Cows, Chickens, Eagles, Goats, Hippos, Kangaroos, Ostriches, Rhinos, Wolves

Lowest Pitched: Bears, Bulls, Elephants, Gorillas, Horses, Lions, Tigers
