Amiibo Villager Move In

When you move an Amiibo villager into your town and you already have 10 villagers, do they move in where the person you've asked to move out was staying or do they randomly plot? I'm trying to think of whether or not I should actually invite an Amiibo into my almost complete town.

They move in somewhere random unless you plot reset for them.

Yeah, TykiButterfree is correct. They move in wherever, just as if they were a normal new villager. it'd be kind of handy if they moved in where the previous villager was, it would definitely give me less hassle with plot resetting >.>
