This thread is where you can ask a question about either America or Britian (e.g. Is it true all people in Britian have terrible teeth?) and someone from one of theese two countries can answer you (e.g. No, its just a negative sterotype because of people like Prince Charles having terrible teeth).

So let me just ask this to America:
I've heard of 'Glee club' in high schools but what is it exactly? All i really know is it's a sterotype that nerds join it.

How many Kentucky Fried Chicken fast food restaurants are there in America?

A lot. There are a lot of fast food restaurants in general. I'm not one of them, but America does have a large obesity problem.

It's actually one of the smaller fast food chains in America.

You'll find McDonalds, Burger King, and Taco Bell on almost every street corner here. :P

OH MAN I'VE BEEN WONDERING ABOUT THIS FOREVER

What does an American accent sound like to British ears?
Not Southern, more like... Well, New York, but not like "I'M WALKIN HEEYAH"
Just normal. XD

Don't hold back! I imagine it sounds kind of nasally and annoying.

After what sports game do the people in Britain celebrate homecoming? Soccer? Or do they not have a homecoming dance? I know there's a private school by me who doesn't have a football team and they have their homecoming dance after a field hockey game...which I think is lame.

Yup! After a football game everyone is all hyped up, especially if you've just beaten a rival team, but no one get's excited after a field hockey game, so it's just an ordinary dance.

Why do British people say "bloody 'ell" instead of "bloody hell"? They can't pronounce "H" just like Japanese can't pronounce "L"?

Everyone that I know who says 'Bloody Hell' pronounces the 'H'.
But there isn't really a 'British' Accent, there's the London accent, (Which most foreigners think all british people speak with that accent.), there's the Essex accent, (Which I have.), there's accents for every county really.

Question(s):
1)Do people in America not have school uniforms?
2)Do people in America watch British programs? (e.g: Doctor Who, Torchwood, Eastenders, Deal or no Deal, Hole in the Wall.)
3)What do you think of the British accents? Do you think we all sound posh?

1. Most public schools do not.
2. WHAT. DEAL OR NO DEAL ISN'T AMERICAN? HOOOOWIE, HOW COULD YOU?
To actually answer the question, some.
3. They're spiffy.
