acnl amiibo villagers speculations i guess

i don't know if there are any other threads about this but i just saw it on tumblr and thought i would share!
(please tell me if this is the wrong place to post this or if it has already been posted)

i made a huge mistake, i thought these were real as the place where i saw it posted had no source on it :/

but they are cool anyways so i guess i'll keep the post up

remember these might not be real i'm pretty sure they are not

i hope kamaboko will be back, i never got to play the older games but i always thought he looked super cool whenever i looked at the wiki

so... what are your thoughts about these villagers?

Filly, Felyne, and the wooden cats are just Jinglefruit's guesses. I honestly think they will not be in New Leaf. Especially the wooden cats as they are just placeholders. The first four rows are likely candidates for returning though! I hope Sunny the frog comes back! She was really cute and I loved seeing her picture on the wiki.

I've seen this post as well, but there is no evidence for these villagers appearing - the person who posted this simply guessed they would, since a few older vilagers are being reintroduced. Don't take random posts you see as facts - this was simply somebody's speculation.

the cat is based off a felyne from the monster hunter series and he was in HHD as a DLC character (i think)

These villager textures were found in-game in the HHD data. Since Vivian (Vanessa the tan wolf) is in, we can most likely expect the rest of these except for the wooden cats. We also have Carrie, Louie, Claude and Maddie to think about.
