About Villagers

Are all the villagers from New Leaf returning plus newcomers? Or have some of the villagers from New Leaf/Welcome Amiibo era of Animal Crossing been removed? I mostly ask due to the fact that I want to scan a certain villager in now that I have a free space at my campsite....but the Animal Crossing Wiki doesn't show this particular villager on the list. And I'm not sure if the listing is complete or not.

Viche from the Marie Amiibo. One of my dream villagers since New Leaf did the Welcome Amiibo thing.

all the villagers from new leaf + the 50 welcome amiibo villagers are in the game - the only ones that were removed are the sanrio and amiibo figure villagers (epona, for example)
