A small "heads up" about Isabelle's podcasts

Making a thread for higher visibility. Apparently Isabelle will only give out her seasonal recipes and notify you of meteor showers if she has no announcements for that day.

I remember in my previous island I knew I was going to have a meteor shower on a certain day and she didn't notify me of it because someone was moving out that day. In my current island I've been replaying everything day by day, always had some sort of announcement since April started and today on April 5 with no announcements she oh so kindly decided to say it was cherry blossom season and gave me the picnic recipe.

They really need to change this because this is not OK. Some of you probably knew this already but I'm posting it anyway for awareness.

I haven't had any meteor showers yet, but I did notice the recipe thing. She gave me one but then I scanned a villager into the campsite, so my brother didn't get the recipe that day since Isabelle thought the campsite was more important.

Bro wth u sayin'.... yeah. Isabelle has a podcast every day about her favorite sock. Sometimes she also talks about her favorite TV shows. It's called "Waste your time on me I'm already the voice inside your head"

Thank you so much for posting this. I had no idea since I missed out in Bunny Day and Cherry Blossom. I was kinda wondering about the meteor showers and get confused sometimes whether it is one or not since i have gotten some a few times when she didn’t mention them at all.

Yeah, I hope they fix it. I think she gives out an autumn recipe as well next month or after so it may happen to some people again at first

Thank you for sharing this information. I didn't start playing until after the Bunny Day event and Cherry Blossom season, though I had read about heavy meteor showers not being announced if there was, say, a campsite visitor. So I wasn't aware the same thing would happen for Isabelle handing out seasonal DIYs. Really hope they let Isabelle's announcements stack in a future update.

I read others saying this during the cherry blossom season. I see she is afraid of being too useful. Did tom nook tell her this was a vacation? I am not too bothered since i dont care for meteor showers but i would like her to not delay handing out her seasonal recipe.

The seasonal DIY thing doesn't bother me much (I play through everyday, it never takes too long to get it) but the meteor shower thing FREAKED me out when I first found it out! It was right after the last maintenience, I TTed to a day I knew I had one, and she just mentioned a visitor in the campsite. I was super paranoid that the dates for meteor showers had been changed or something but, fortunately, I still had one that night. But it DID make me paranoid if I've missed some because she didn't announce them
Seriously, Isabelle, those are PRIORITY announcements. But, I still enjoy her announcements. Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one, but I think her ramblings starting each day are charming ☺

She's announced meteor showers for me twice. And one time I was just playing at nighttime and Celeste was there and there were a couple of stars. I don't think there was a camper that day

A time traveler who enjoys Isabelle, you're a rare find! The weird thing is she can stack announcements in a single day. The issue is she won't mention these at all on those days. Tom Nook was the same though. I had a meteor shower on the second or third day and my villagers were the only ones talking about it

Frankly, I LOVE her as a TTer. Sometimes I forget if I've TTed forward a day and she always reminds me Plus, I just find her little "fake" announcements cute. Even if they're repetitive, they make me smile.
And, I know, I wish she'd at least give a quick note about a meteor shower! She definitely can stack announcements, and you'd THINK that would be pretty noteworthy!
