yeah she never gave me the shell diy. i got i think from a balloon. her "announcements" are a waste of time. i like the nl way much better, just have a bubble come up on screen when you walk out of your house if there is something important. otherwise dont bother at all. im sick of hearing about her video chats and found socks. i'd rather u tell me who the daily visitor is.

oh yeah, i've heard about this few days or maybe even weeks ago and was pretty disappoited. i think that the general idea of isabelle announcing stuff everyday is great but the thing is... most of her current announcement are literally useless. i really love her as a character but it's really disappointing that instead of announcing all useful things like meteor showers (regardless of whether or not she talks about something else as well) or special characters (like flick, cj, redd or even saharah) nintendo made her talk about some sort of show on the tv she saw last night. like dude, wtf. what am i supposed to do with this information? at this point she could literally say nothing and it wouldn't change much.

also, i'm not sure how helpful it actually could be but i've heard about this site that supposedly can predict meteor showers on your island. i haven't used that yet but it sounds interesting. just putting it out there because maybe some will find that useful. ☺

I didn’t know this but did notice I had a meteor shower and she didn’t say it in the announcements. I hope they change it cause I had no idea I had one that day until I turned up my volume

She can say more than one thing, which makes it even worse and actually feels intentional that she just won't talk about these specific ones. :/ Many people get like 1 heavy meteor shower a month at best, and imagine them missing out on it because of this. It's a pretty serious flaw imo

Honestly it’s not a huge issue but considering Nintendo is such a big company the fact this is even an issue is annoying. Like I could understand if meteor showers stopped during the actual fireworks but the entire event, really?
