YR: Next Animal Crossing game has allusions to the Bell Tree Forums

What would you think if the next Animal Crossing game makes references to this site? Like Resetti occasionally telling you about his past job at issuing infractions to rule violators, Jack mentioning Wix, Timmy and Tommy selling TBT original collectibles like the Planet Glow Wand and Weird Doll, and Tom Nook telling you not to use TBT Bells in paying your debts.

I doubt this would ever happen, but I'd find it super weird.

I'd find it weird if it happened, especially since I doubt TBT is known well in Japan. Plus some things on TBT like Wix would be super weird for them to use without permission.

I think it would be cool if the dev team took inspiration from the collectables and events from this site, maybe your player ID could have badges of its own. I'd like that!

I find it incredibly unlikely, but I think it would be super cool if it happened. TBT has been around for so long and inspired so many people to develop a passion for the game. That said, referencing TBT would kind of be like breaking the 4th wall. So maybe it would be better if Nintendo didn't.
