So I have freed up my 10th villager spot, and I'm happily awaiting the arrival of Tangy to fill it. My tenth was adopted out to someone. My question is whether staying on my 10th villager's move out date will protect my open spot. I know the empty house will prevent me from inviting anyone else to move in, but will it also protect me from random voided villagers and street-passed move-ins? I'm happy to stay on the same day, but perhaps the empty house isn't enough, and I actually need to just turn off my wifi until Tangy moves in?

I'd turn off wifi but not even that works too well. You could get something from the void of the person who adopted from you geez.. I'd personally turn off the wifi and set up a new character to scout for a void move-in the next day. If you don't have one, I think you'd be fine ^^ (from experience, nearly happened to me last night with Rory!)

Oh good heavens! Why did they make this so hard! Thanks for the advice. I'm going to be careful:)
