Trash bin help

Hi I’m sorry this is really random and i don’t know where is to post this. I was hoping I put all my valuable items from animal crossing into the trash bin and Idk why I thought their was a way to retrieve them but now it won’t open. Is their anyway to get my things back? Thank you

The trash bin throws them away permanently, it's kind of implied in the name.

did the game autosave after you threw them in? maybe you can reset and get them back

I feel like there should be some sort of confirmation before you throw them in the trash since it DOES delete them permanently... I guess it can be considered a common sense thing but I didn't know you can throw stuff out in the trash until this game.

I'm sorry about the loss of your items though :c Hopefully it's stuff you can get back easily.

Was the items you threw in unique? Maybe you can order them again through nook. Unless they’re materials.
