Toy Day

Hey,
I was wondering if anyone knew how toy day works in new horizons. Villagers have not told me what kind of gift they want yet and was thinking maybe you can give them any of the special toys sold at the shop? Or do they start telling you tomorrow when the season officially starts?

Jingle will likely give you a gift and tell you who to give it to, or he will give you gift(s) and you just pick who they go to.

Also, I believe the Festive season that starts tomorrow has no correlation with the Toy Day event. It's just in there for DIYs/decoration.
