selling things at retail?

if you put something up for sale at retail and someone else buys it, is there something you have to do for the bells to show up in your savings account? or does it show up automatically? does it show up instantly or do you have to wait a day maybe?

sorry if this is an obvious question, I can't find the answer anywhere!

also, if u are in there when they buy your item(no one ever buys my stuff unless i am in there) they will give the money directly to u.

yep.
you can also try pushing villagers towards your items until they "ping" you. if they do, try to talk them into buying your stuff.

The bells will show up in your account the next day and Reese will tell you they sold something of yours the next time you go into Re-tail (beginning the day after the sell).
