This is only relevant for players in EUR I'm afraid.

I have a recommendation code for a digital copy of AC:NL as part of Nintendo's friend promotion. Please check to make sure that you are eligible.

I'm not sure how many people will reply to this, so just in case it's really popular, maybe leave a few lines as to why you want another copy for my consideration?

I have heard that when you register your DS - put in XL even though it isn't... and it may still work. Not sure how true, but worth a try!

I'd be willing to test that, but I think I'd need a new 3DS, even then I'd use it as a Cycling town to help people get their dreamies.

Well, I haven't registered my Copy of Animal Crossing on my Club Nintendo Account and I think it's expired...or I think I've just lost the code to it xP

i checked nintendo.fr

it's wite like 5 times that you need a 3ds xl to make it work, and i checked quickly if I could find a way around but it look like there is no other way

you have to register a 3ds xl and the promotional code before october 7th 11.59 PM
