LOL god yeah the biggest problem I have with acnh isn't the price or expansions (cus i was lucky enough for my dad to get both for me), but it was just how (imo) it was just soulless. the islanders are so damn boring and they only focused on aesthetics which....is fine...but that's not what the point of ac is at its core. animal crossing at its core was about communication, friends, and chosen family. i've played it since the gamecube, and seeing it in comparison is wild.Ugh, personal quarrels with New Horizons? Helloooo? Don't get me started, boo.

Here's hoping the next installment of Animal Crossing on the Switch 2: Electric Boogaloo rinses out the bitter taste New Horizons left in my sharp mouth.

I’ve played both New Leaf and New Horizons and prefer New Leaf as well, so I get it! I haven’t played New Leaf in years, but it’s definitely still my favourite game in the series! It’s a shame the online servers will be shutting down soon. :c
