I recently reset my island after barely touching my first island. In my first island, I only flattened it out and didn't really try terraforming at all before quitting the game. I was HUGELY into ACNL and played over 5k hours, and am really trying to get into NH now! I started designing this entrance area of my island, but I'm unsure of how to proceed from here. The theme I'd like to go for is an overgrown, forest-y vibe island! This video shows what I've built so far.
After the first incline outside of the airport, I have an area that I've built up to the 3rd level. I'm wondering if another incline up to the third level with another villager house might be pretty? But also, there's not a -ton- of room over there, either.
Obviously it'll look much better once it's decorated a bit. I'm the kind of person who kinda just...starts doing something without a real idea in mind for how I want the finished product to look. I've been watching tons of videos of island tours of really beautiful islands and thinking about what I want it to look like, but I also dislike the idea of copying things 1 to 1. I'm not sure how much I actually like what I've built so far, though. I'm not sure if it allows me to have enough room to really decorate in a way that I'd like to. I'm also thinking about moving the campsite somewhere else and having a villager on that tiny beach instead.
Would anyone mind watching this video and help me brainstorm some ideas? I'm also down to exchange switch codes if you'd like to take a closer look (or get a dream address, but my island is pretty bare bones besides this area so far)
