Dreamlight valley and AC tting

I'm sure all of us who play ddv know that the game doesn't support time traveling and doing so can break the game. I have always tt'd in ac, nothing crazy just maybe a day or two and i always go back to the right date. Mostly i use it because i like playing in daylight but am rarely able to because of work. So i just set the clock back a few hours. Now playing ddv it's an issue. I'm almost positive i did it and put the clock back to correct date/time before playing ddv and had no issue. Some say any tting even if you reset the clock to normal will break it, others say its ok as long as you only go backward not forward. I'm wondering if anyone here has done it in ac without damaging ddv(putting the clock right before playing ddv of course). Also if you save ddv to a micro sd and remove it from the system would that make a difference? Like if the save file isn't there shouldn't that mean it can't effect it? I'm really tired of not being able to tt when i want. Thanks
