Loving all these replies! Another one, not really dark, but worth mentioning - If it's a Japanese game, and they were gonna pick one skin colour for us all to be, why aren't we Asian? Why are we all white..? If anyone can actually answer this that'd be cool lol

Rodeo's design and house are not western-themed at all but he's named after an activity that is abusive to bulls. Named after a symbol of his oppression, makes sense he has a tech-filled house to broadcast his podcast and looks like a punk rocker rebel.

Oh man these are great.

Not really creepy but the well pwp bothers me. I don't know if it's an actual Japanese folk lore tale but Mushishi had this episode where this girl fell in a water well and it basically trapped her in a dream universe or something. Every time I pass my well I kind of remember that.

The static and testing the late at night really bugs me. As a kid it would scare me so much I'd have to turn the TV off and go fishing to calm down. It's just... Unsettling. On top of that there's the alien thing like great game I'm never sleeping again.

Wisp. Wisp was so creepy as a kid. I'd be wandering around at night and this voice keeps talking. First I heard it I ran home, saved, and turned the game off. Second time I tried to find it but no luck. Just the whole thing was weird. Why is a ghost there. Maybe wisp is really Jack's true form. Or zipper.t. or he's collective soul or roaches I've killed in game.... Something.

What color would Japanese people be in a cartoon game, other than... white. If the developers were Thai, or Indian, or Filipino, or any other tan Asian, then there'd be a curiosity. But Japanese people are pale skinned... ?

I often feel like the mayor character is pushing her to work that hard, even though that isn't shown in game. It makes me feel bad. ;w; I'd invite her to sleep at my house. If only I could.

I even turn the sound down at start-up, and when I'm in Town Hall, because she makes my blood pressure sky rocket.

Yes but you can't tell me that my skin matches with a Japanese person's - they're slightly different, and I would expect to see that reflected in their games! Maybe the idea is that race doesn't matter in the game, especially since everyone else are animals x3

I love this. It could sorta reinforce the theory that we're dreaming, because it's another thing that doesn't make any sense!
