Does anyone have a large pond in their town? I need to catch a Gar for my fish guide

Yep. Gars are only caught in that part of the river

Same with catfish and the giant snakehead.

Im guessing theyre rare then... two hours and i havent caught one. It is 6:20 pm in my town
