Blathers: Says not to donate Rare Fossils

Hi everyone!

I haven’t been able to find any mention of this on the internet, so I’m hoping you can help me!

Sometimes when I bring Blathers a fossil, he says it is rare and that I should give it to the cultural development of the town and to not donate it.

The bad news is since I only saw advice online to donate to Blathers and I don’t know what the cultural development is, I got impatient and donated all my fossils anyway...

Am I screwed? Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks!!!

You perhaps misread it. He recommends you to donate it for the cultural development of the town Donating it = cultural development of the town. You're not screwed. Don't worry ^_^
