No, but they do give me massive headaches. Unfortunately, back in school, we got yelled at by teachers and picked on by students for covering our ears (apparently, those of us with sensitive hearing were straight outta luck). But on the bright side, I figured out how to manually change the pressure in my ears to block out the noise.

Not really. I may get startled by the alarm, though. I get jumpy at loud noises quite easily.

They startle me when they go off because of how loud they are.
