Order my switch from them with UPS shipping, but I was wondering if anyone has had past experiences pre-ordering from them. Do they normally ship on time?

i haven't ordered a switch or anything animal crossing from them, but i do order other games from there. the cheapest shipping takes over a month, usually.

I've only ever ordered amiibos from them and they usually came in on time. My only issues with them would probably be handling time and customs. There have been times where my package would be stuck in one facility for 4 days with no updates, then it gets going and arrives. At these times I would get it 1-2 days late. Usually though they arrive on time or earlier. The only account I have when they arrived earlier is when my female Corrin Amiibo came in a week early. Also I've only received a package from them through UPS once, that package came early. Since your package is a switch I'm sure it will arrive on time or early. But there can also be delays due to the virus; let's hope it doesn't and you get to enjoy playing on time or early^_^

i would say they can take some time, depending. especially since they're overseas so they would likely take longer to arrive sadly :[ like someone said, they can take a month if it's SAL/Registered SAL or even an extra few days for custom processing and a slight delay for the virus panic causing lots of delays because of extra caution and stuff like that happening. hope it gets to you sooner though~

Depends on what information they gave you, really. They most likely got the console a week ago and shipping usually takes some time from Asia and can get stuck in customs, sadly. Like mae said, things from Asia can take weeks or even months. If they said you‘ll be getting it on release day, I highly doubt that is going to happen since they didn’t get the game a month before all the other retailers. If they said you’ll be getting it sometime in April- yeah, that could work.

Only ever ordered accessories and never had issues with them, but I do think they're often quite overpriced

Still better than not being able to get the items you want I guess

I'm really hoping that it will be delivered early! I pre-ordered the EU version of the console because it was cheaper than purchasing the console and the game. Everyone else I know have been telling me to expect delays so your message gave me some hope.

Yeah, I was worried about that so I opted for UPS. I'm also located in Asia, so hopefully that would shorten the wait by a fair bit.

I got the EU console so technically it hasn't released yet. But I've been obsessively checking on the order (unhealthy, I know XD) and the status just changed to "Preparing Order" today. I'm hoping this means they already have the console on hand and is just waiting to ship it on March 20th. >_<

I agree on the overpriced part. I try not to order from them since I can source my games from elsewhere for a cheaper price, but my company gives us Play-Asia vouchers for Christmas yearly so I'm always having to use it up before they expire. =(

I've ordered from Playasia when I lived in Malaysia. Took like 2 weeks? I've had pretty bad customer service experiences with them though. I don't use them anymore for physical games but occasionally I will buy nintendo eshop card codes from them.

I think they may have improved on the customer service front. They were pretty quick to respond when I pinged them on Facebook to make some changes to my order. And they were quite friendly! o:

Since you live in Asia I'm very certain that the turn over time will be much quicker than overseas. Like another users said it took their item to arrive in 2 weeks. Of course we're not certain and there can always be issues along the way like UPS or handling time. I hope you get your switch early since you live in Asia and it would be much quicker to get it there rather than over seas!^_^
