(But I'm considering the name Lavender if/when I reset. Purple is my favorite color, lavender is my favorite flower and one of my favorite scents.)

I chose.Sunkist for my cycle town because I researched rich town names lol. Its funny how the native fruit was oranges as well. Lol.

I know though admittedly only since I googled it beforehand to see if it was an actual place lol... I chose the name because of the song though.

-Whoever said about the ordinance to change the name, I COMPLETELY agree. I kinda regret naming mine what it is, but it's unique which I like. And it's going to be a city so it couldn't have too much of a whimsy name, even though I love whimsy things.

god there's so many of these threads, they're all so interesting! honeymoo is named because it was supposed to be honeymoon, but it wouldn't fit, then me and a friend decided honeymoo was just the cutest thing ever! my second town that i just created today is chai, named after my favorite tea hehe

Mine is called Duwang. It probably sounds kinda dirty, but it's a mistranslation of the town name in part 4 of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. I never end up happy with the names of my AC towns, so I just figured I'd go with something funny this time. I do wish I had named it something cuter, though!

My main town's name is Goosey. I went to the midnight launch for ACNL and busted it open immediately when I got home and started going through without any prior thought to my map or town name. When asked that, I got flustered, looked at a poultry magazine on our coffee table and named it without looking back. Probably everyone I trade with initially thinks I'm 13 and not twice that age but oh well-can't change it now.

My second town is PB&Jton. I wanted my mayor to be all purple themed and named Jelli so I tried to think of something that corresponded. Of course, it's also really juvenile but at least my flag is adorable. haha!

My town name is Acadiana. I just thought it sounded all foresty and fresh, and to this day, I don't regret it. If I do happen to get another town, I'd name it something like Gumdrop, so I can make it candy themed.

My town is named Eversong, both because I really like music and as a reference to a zone in World of Warcraft (Eversong Forest), a game which I used to play lots before school slowed me down. I think it made a really cute town name, my flag is music themed, and the zone in Warcraft is really pretty as well, so it's fitting.

I got the name from Pokemon. <3 I thought it was really pretty and it reminded me of a big pink castle.
Wich is the theme for my mayors home. ; u;

I named my town birdsong after my close friend. It's her maiden name and as she started me on this AC world back in 2003, I figured it would be a very fitting name. also, I am a huge bird lover (we have 14 birds) and have been involved with music my whole life. Birdsong just fit. I've never regretted it for a second.

My first and original town in WW was named Rudytown after my cat named Rudy. When I started playing NL I chose Cat Cove because I have three cats and it sounds perfect.

I brought all my characters from WW over to NL. Diamond is the mayor of Cat Cove and her sister Emerald lives there too. Their sister Jewel loves blue so Blue Bay became the name of her town.

Altomare. Because if anyone has seen the 5th Pokemon Movie, the town is named Altomare, it looks like a Venecian-themed town aaaand I really love the protagonist of the movie (Kanon)/(Bianca), that's why I have Bianca in my town (The peppy tiger) and Kanon as another character, but the Mayor of Altomare is Flora, myself

I named my town Mitsuwa cause it's my favorite Japanese place to go for Ramen and other stuff that are Japanese.

My town's name is Goldmoon, named after a character in the fantasy novel/game series DragonLance. I wanted a name related to nature, also.
