Your thoughts on Majoras Mask for 3ds

if they started working out on this remake at the time ocarina of time 3ds was being made, then hopefully we'll get it quiet soon, like in the first half of 2015

I could never finish it as a kid, and N64 games feel too dated for me these days to keep my attention long enough.


I'm pretty glad it's being remade, I can finally complete it!

According to Amazon its going to be released in December of 2015, but I'm sure that is just a "stock" date.

I think it is awesome that they are adding Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask to the 3ds.

My hype is real for this remake xD i loved the first game and as of right now i'm debating on where i should preorder it from as i've heard bad things about gamestop preorders...i wonder if they're making a special edition 3ds or 3ds xl for the release because i've seen concept art for it and i would trade in my current 3ds xl to get it plus it has this deep purple inside unlike the black on most 3ds xl units. I hope it hits the stores in March/April so over spring break i can grind up some hours on that

I just hope they don't dumb it down too much. For instance I think it's really silly that the latest Zelda games have a stone that straight up tells you how to solve puzzles. All this talk of making it "easy" and "accessible" isn't making me feel any better.

That said, Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda game and I will be getting this for sure

If Ocarina of Time 3D is any indication on how Majora's Mask 3D is going to play, then the more action-oriented segments of the N64/VC version will be much more bearable thanks to the upped framerate. I couldn't stand of that, which pretty much halted my progress halfway through the infamous Great Bay Temple.

Until I've seen more about the remake, I haven't made the decision on getting it. Though, I can say I'm still hopeful for this one to finally complete that one dungeon.
