Share Your Switch 2 Experiences

I think Boyle will have a "change your appearance" option available in his menu at some point. I don't remember when that appears, but try looking there.

I’m really loving the updates that Switch 1 games have been getting for Switch 2. Especially the free ones. Splatoon 3 is by far my most played game and now that it’s had its visuals improved it looks like a whole new game. I love it so much. I know not all games are going to get updates like these but I hope the list expands as devs have a chance to make updates in the future.

I also have a side by side two tv setup. One with a switch 1 and the other with a switch 2. My partner and I had Splatoon playing on both before the update and it looked marginally better on the switch 2. Nothing to write home about. Now that the update is out however wow is there ever a difference.

I took my Switch 2 to Starbucks and had a great time with it. It works pretty well portably despite its bulky size.

So we're in July now and apparently professor Layton is coming out this year......they're leaving it pretty darn late

Very disappointed. New horizons looks not as good on hand held (I don’t play docked ) it looks not as crisp and pixelated. Sure Mario kart world is ok and breath of the wild upgrade is nice Hogwarts looks great too. But I feel this is a possible wiiu electric boogaloo I only got it to play the new AC on to be honest I’m considering moving my older switch one games back to my switch lite… they just look better

Don't own Switch 2 yet, but I've played Mario Kart world and the Donkey Kong demo a little bit each. Both looked great, gameplay was fun. But not really anywhere close to convincing me to buy Switch 2 yet. Maybe after some more games come out.

Can't believe we're into august now and there's no release date for Metroid. What's going on? Normally I'd have something pre-ordered now

everything runs so much more smoothly and the mass photo deletion has been upped from 100 to 1,000.

Man, I cannot imagine the next animal crossing on here :,)

I mean this game has been in development hell for like 10+ years now? So really not that surprising. It's more surprising that we actually finally got some news about it. We also didn't know anything about Donkey Kong's new game then suddenly we got a trailer for Banzanza? And like two months later it was already released. It felt kind of fast and weird for how games usually are announced much earlier than they are ready. I was bit blindsided by that since I'm used to waiting forever for Nintendo to finally release the games.

I know I love that! It took forever and was so annoying to purge the gallery. I remember being able to hook my switch up to a usb and then deleting the entire folder on my old pc, but the last year or so it hasn't worked. So it's great that I can just keep scrolling without ever hitting the limit 🎉

It was equally amazing being able to play NH without any lag, everything was already loaded in, and the time it took to boot up and open the island has been reduced immensely.

My experience so far is one of being unable to get mine to connect to my home wifi most of the time.
Have to go on a half hour drive to connect to the internet.

On a related note, my Switch 1 now experiences Switch 2 issues.

Unsure if this is asked at all, but as someone with small hands, how problematic is the longer joycons for smaller hands?
Are controllers that long too? I don't have anybody around me who has a switch 2, so I can't practice.
I'm not planning to get a switch 2 any time soon, but it's just a small question I was interested about.

i played mkw free roam on my friends switch 2, as well as knockout tour.

its pretty good honestly, but im not getting one i still have to collect more old games

Just picked it up today! Setting up now, excited for the new Mario but tbh I bought it for Pokémon even though it wasn't necessary at all. I'm looking forward to Pokopia and better performances of any game, the exclusives aren't that alluring as of yet. I'm most excited about a lagfree experience of ACNH and Fortnite.

I think Nintendo did everything imaginable to make it as usable as possible for everybody. In Mario Kart you can use ZR for drift alternatively (and ZL for items instead of L) and that's so much easier to reach. Hitting the top of the R bumper is rough for me, but the R bumper goes all the way to the side to the A button which makes it easier to reach.

My friend got herself a Nintendo Switch 2 and came over to mine for me to help her set it up as she isn't good with technology (her words not mine haha)

It was actually really nice I enjoyed setting it up and learning the controls of it. The screen is so big and clear to she brought over the new Mario Kart it was a really fun game to play. At the moment I still do not have a need to get one as I prefer playing handheld and it was very huge to hold the Switch 2.

Maybe in the future when there is a new Animal Crossing game only on the Switch 2 I might get it.
