I hate the advice that adults give to you, "Tell a teacher or your parents", It will never work. People who bully are jealous, bored or do it to impress. I'd say you should just blank the bully unless he has a knife then just get away from him. Anyway sorry about your cousin.

Usually bullies are people who are mentally abused at home or somewhere else. They go to school and take out their anger on others which supposedly makes them feel better. Some people just bully because they're trying to impress friends. It is wrong.

For example one of my friends on facebook changed her default to a swastika and I post on her wall something like "wtf is up with your default...?" and like people like/comment my post agreeing with me. In that case I felt like it was necessary to say something to her. Usually if you stay into the norm you won't be bullied, and if you are just ignore the bullies and don't "feed" them.

You yourself, sadly most of the time, can't do anything about it. Just watch as the days go by. And as Josh says, their advice doesn't work, it might but I felt that if I told anyone everything would be worse. But you realize, the bully is just like you, scared. They're only doing this to look "cool". They feel the need for someone to feel pain, either physical or mentally. The reason they might do it, is different every time. The best idea is to just ignore it. You shouldn't let something like that bring you down. And if you can, tell a friend, sometimes they can help more than adults.

I'm against bullying. I've been bullied before, it made me quit both football and bandy. I've been bullied in school as well and they were all 2 years older then me. But what pisses me of the most is that i got bullied for my skin-color and my height. People like that make me sick.

But if they hurt you for it, you should tell a teacher, and if that doesn't work, tell a policeman or a security person at your school, they'll beat the crap outta them.
And if they make it so you aren't "cool" or "popular", please pray that something horrid and life scarring happens to them. Once I and some other kids wished for one guy to get sick or something, but instead five months later his parents divorced and everyone teased him, and I guess he deserved it. He gave some of us nose bleeds, and often said that one day he would kill us.

But like someone said somewhere in this thread or some other thread, I believe in the "eye for an eye" idea. If we pay the exact amount of money that something costs, why not pay the exact punishment for what crime you did? You bully others, you should get bullied. You steal someone's lunch money, you get your money stolen. You give someone a broken leg, someone gets to break your leg.
Why do people look badly on this idea, I do not know. And when people give me reasons, they're usually pretty bad, like "No one deserves to die, even those who kill", I hate people who say that.
