Your nostalgic villagers

I started with Wild World, it was such a precious game.
I remember that my native town's fruit was oranges, and I worked day and night on it.
I had my favorite villager starting off which was Peanut, bless her soul- and also Pecan.

And then in City Folk, I also had oranges but I eventually got all the fruit, and paid my entire loan off.
Some memorable villager mentions that I had were Marina and Octavian.

I don’t know the name of my first Town on Population Growing anymore, but I know that I had a deep Bond with some of my Villagers like Otis (Rip), Boris, Gonzo, Olivia, Poncho, Filbert and Dotty, just to Name some of them. I think my first fruit was Peaches, but I always tried to get Pears, because I like Pears in Real Life. The fact that most of the villagers gave me free items and 3000 Bells for a cheap item made me super happy, even when you are called a Psycho all the time, after you ran into them during Nighttime. Especially Boris and Gonzo liked to give me Items and rare Fruit for free, so they are the most memorable of the bunch. Haha

I didn’t play much of Wild World, but Static was my best friend in this Game. Sadly the Graphics screwed the Gameplay up. I couldn’t stand it. I also remember hating some villagers here, because they always wanted Special Fossils and gave me junk in return. I think Jay started it, followed by Patty the Cow. That was the final nail in the coffin for me and I stopped playing forever. Sorry about all the fans of Wild World.

In City Folk I met Rod, Rosie and Del which became my favorites there. Didn’t care much about the rest (Sorry Opal and Wart Jr.). And yeah, also some weird obsessions with very rare Fish I should catch for them.

And in New Leaf i met a lot of old Friends (Rod, Rosie, Olivia, Del) and ofc some new ones like Bluebear, Jacques, Kidd and Ken which also became some of my favorites (I know Bluebear existed since Population Growing, but I never ran into her). I think I also had Anchovy for a long time. He had the same Birthday as me and gave me my first Picture. Sadly I never felt much for him, which was kinda weird. And Chops the Creeper, which send me Girl Clothing and didn’t want to leave. Most hated Villager.

Cleo and Mathilda! I'm not crazy with Mathilda's design so even though I have fond memories of her from the Gamecube Game, she's not been in any of my towns since then. She just reminds me of my childhood. Cleo is my girl though. She was also in my gamecube town for a while and I loved to chat with her, and she was the cutest thing on the planet at that time, for me of course. I eventually did forget about her when Wildworld dropped and she was left behind, same thing happened in New Leaf because as much as I loved her, I was too fixed on a new game. When she was brought back with Welcome Amiibo, I about went bananas. I have since made sure to have her in both my New Leaf Town and now on my Island. I keep her amiibo card in a hard case too. She really gives me a best friend kinda feeling because in my mind, she and I go years back. She could never replace a human friend in the real world but she's special to me in a way!

Somewhere in a notebook I documented my first GCN town, since I was so obsessed back then. Nevertheless, I can tell you off the top of my head the original 6: Bob, Purrl, Tabby, Ace, Wolfgang, and Sydney.

Of course I have nostalgia for all of them. I think it's the only reason I can stand Tabby. Lol. If I didn't have that, I'd think "No, just no" with her.

Other villagers I remember having early on, after the original 6: Punchy, Chief, Olivia (I can't help but think of these three as lesser Bob, Wolfgang, and Purrl, even though at least the first two are amazing in of themselves), Sydney, Biskit, Aurora, Elmer, Biff, Cube, etc.

I don't remember my originals for WW, CF, or even NL. I'm sure I posted my originals in NL somewhere on these forums, but my post history doesn't go back that far. =/

Mine is Scoot, when I was a kid I had him in my GameCube village. I used to think of him as my best friend lol. I have strong nostalgia for him even though I have not had him live with me since the GameCube days. I'm thinking about bringing him to my island if I get the opportunity.

Wild World was my first AC game. Antonio is the only villager I’ve brought back into my towns on purpose, because he was my favorite, but I also feel super nostalgic about Dora, Peewee, Tipper, and Punchy. I would love to have one of them again.

My nostalgia villagers that are on my island now are Erik and Olaf thanks to New Leaf... I have an awful memory so I can't really recall the games before then or what the two did that made my experience so special but, Erik took a spot that could've been for my Raymond quest when I found him on a random island because he was so dear (pun?) to me, and Olaf, I bought his amiibo card just to have him at my side again, so, they had to've done something right way back when.

Another would kind of be Lyman? I do not like koalas in the slightest in reality and was really disgruntled when he ended up being one of my two starting villagers, only for him to grow on me and for me to come back to this site after a long while of being gone to find he was on my long ago dreamie list FOR New Leaf???

Wild, I know.

• I started animal crossing on GameCub and I can remember having Lobo, Jay, and Al as villagers and I know I had apples as my fruit.
• The next animal crossing game I played was New Leaf and I had apples again. Then cycled through villagers with Tank, Annabelle, Apollo, Curt, Flo, Frita, Kody, Nate, Pecan, Rodney, and Genji.

when I met Pecan on a Nook Island I decided to invite her back and if I ever meet Genji I would invite him to my NH town too.

Nostalgic villagers for me are Kiki and Bones, they were neighbors I was very fond of in my first town in City Folk. Poncho and Cookie used to live next to me, so they also hold a special place in my heart. Bree also is nostalgic for me as the song she played in her room became my favorite in the soundtrack.

Wild World was my first. Apollo and Peanut are my nostalgic villagers. I really hope to find them both once I have some move outs.

Started playing the series with Wild World. When I first heard of it, I thought it was a game kinda like Crossy Road where instead of you being the animal, you were the driver and had to avoid animals crossing the road. When I saw some classmates having fun with it, decided to give it a try and fell in love. I remember my first villagers were Tank, Yuka, and Static. Other villagers I remember having were Whitney, Chief, Stitches, Octavian, Agent S, Aurora, Joey, Lucy, and Hugh. Particularly remember Stitches because I was creeped out by how he didn’t have eyes, Octavian because Octopi aren’t too common, Agent S because I found her cool, Aurora because I found her cute, Joey because of one of his lines where he mentions that he has a scary story where he heard that the mayor’s favorite food is Peking duck which I found funny, Lucy since she started calling me a nickname which still stuck around even after she left, and Hugh since he was one of the first ones who moved into my town.

Started New Leaf later on and started with Poppy, Chrissy, and I think it was Buck. Just mostly remember Poppy and Chrissy because I still kept them around in my town. It was also in New Leaf where I started online trading. Haven’t played in a while though since I got lazy at some points and am afraid of a villager I worked so hard to get leave. It was kinda tedious to find who was moving. I sank in I believe around 2-300 hours into it, but I think New Horizons should catch up soon with 155 put in so far.

I don't remember any of my villagers from the gamecube version since it's been too long. I remember I had Dotty, Peanut, and Lily in Wild World; I still have Lily in ACNH, but I'm still on the hunt for the other two

I grew up with all of the games, starting with the GC. I can't for the life of me remember which villagers I had though, even though I was about 9 or 10 when I was playing it! I mostly spent my time making patterns and travelling to the island as I had a GBA cable.

However one thing I do remember is that I desperately wanted Cube the penguin, I was obsessed with my GameCube and he had the logo in his shirt so I really wanted him! Never got him though... Until New Horizons! I found him on a Nook Miles island and had to have him, I finally fulfilled my childhood dream!

In Wild World I specifically remember having Tangy, Coco, Ruby and Maple and they were all very dear to me! However I've never had them in New Leaf and I'm not particularly trying to get them now.

Yeah, Stitches! Me and my brother had him in our Wild World towns. He was both of our favorite. It brings back good memories~ Wild World is the only AC I've been able to properly play with friends, it was so much fun that way. I never played CF but was so happy when Stitches randomly moved into my NL town. I just had to get him back in NH too. The first thing my brother asked me when he saw me playing was if I had Stitches on my island.

I also remember Tipper, Kabuki (I was too young and stupid to appreciate him), Bluebear and Caroline from my WW days. Caroline was another favorite!

had moe since my first game, city folk. i borrowed a relative's wii when i didn't have access to mine (not knowing the saved file wasn't saved on the disc) and cried when i thought my data was deleted. made an effort to find him in new leaf onwards—now even my mom has an affinity for him!

My first game was wild world and I remember the first villager I ever saw was Derwin, so I’ve always had a soft spot for him :3

I remember playing animal crossing, the original, and I loved Hazel (Now Sally), so when my brother stopped playing his town, where he had her, I tried to get her to move to my town by dumping bunches and bunches of trash on her lawn as I went back and forth between the two towns. Eventually, I did get her to move but it took a while.

I'm still a little nostalgic about that, but not to the point where I actively seek her out

In my first town I had Del, Bonbon, Rodeo, Eugene, Shep, and Friga. That's all I remember.
Right now, I have Rodeo in my town, and Eugene is moving in tomorrow.
