good point. up to now, still can't wrap my head around the fact that players were complaining about visiting NPC schedule and solved it by bringing another 1 to the mix lol. we were already struggling to get regular gulliver but at least they actually changed the NPC visiting schedules to something better. still, kind of random. but at least the set is really great. i'm glad we're getting these themed sets back. i do hope we also get kapp'n in the future. living the island life without him seems incomplete.

it's so silly that gulliver's kinda like cosplaying as a pirate though. i want to know what the conversation with him is like?

At least now they are all random. If I can see an NPC every 10 days or so that's better than before.

I really really hope so too (plus Tortimer and his family). I also hope they don't make the minigames (if they bring them back) too easy, I enjoyed the Elite ones on NL. I don't know if they would bring back medals though? Unless they introduce new sets or something since the Mermaid one is from Pascal now. And the cabana one just looks like the new one that they have

Oh I didn't know they changed the NPC schedule. So you have the same chance monday through Friday to get anyone now? I really didn't need the same 3 characters weekly.

I hadn't thought about using Kapp'n for that, but it would have made sense to me. I've sort of forgotten about him by now. When I first saw the pier I thought he would be coming in an update pretty soon, since it reminded me of the docks in New Leaf. But after nearly 4 months it feels like it's either not going to happen, or the developers are trying to come up with something really nice for him.

Makes me hope that they are never going to add him, and he is so annoying. If they want to replace even more NPCs with new ones, then this is one of the times i am all here for it.

The pier would be perfect to reintroduce Kappn’, although I wouldn’t mind a relative of Kappn’ as a new NPC. Kappn was kind of annoying to me lol. I kind of wish that some NPCs that are added have more of a permanent appearance on our islands rather than random rotational visitors. I don’t really like this feature. I would like kappn’ or lil kappn to have their boat always docked, perhaps to take us to a new location or even just sell us stuff like bait and fishing supplies.
