YEY for new mods!

I would like to be a TBT MOD because I see the need for new MODs because most of the current ones are getting older and they don't have time for forums anymore, I know I would do a good job at it because i have experience from other forums outside of TBT, I'm getting tired of all the pointless spam/flaming/trolling throughout TBT because it makes TBT a not so enjoyable forum to be on so something needs to be done about it, TBT also needs more MODs period because there's not a big enough distrubution of MODs for all timezones because the TBT Staff need to keep on TBT 24-7 because we don't want any possible oppurtunities for hackers/spammers/trolls to cause trouble, and I think I and everyone else going for TBT MOD this year will do the job right and make TBT a better forum to be on. :)
It's not MOD it's mod.

Stop it it's making me rage.

I usually check in, even if I don't post. I'm usually up 24-7. I know what's spam and what isn't. I already know how to use zeta moderator tools.

wat
Not quitting. Just rarely coming on more. I'm only on this week because I have absolutely no school cause of a pipe burst and I'm waiting for mod results.

I don't really have many reasons to be a moderator of TBT, it's just I have many free time and I've nothing to do so I would like to use that precious time and use it on TBT but I do not really care if I get chosen or not.But it's best if I do because I could help the bell tree in moderation.Yes I know, some people hate me but it doesn't mean I can't handle a job.Like I said in another topic, I have been a moderator on a online chat game for 1 year.So it means I know how to see the difference between good things and bad things.I wont say anything more to that topic, but I hope people understand why I want to be a moderator.

Thanks

Well, I'd like to say right off the bat that I don't want a Moderator position just for the perks or the fancy blue username color that comes with the job. I'm not in it for reasons like that. I want the position because I want to give my all back to the community. It's as simple as that.

I feel like our community deserves a lot and I really want to make this community better. I've been here for a little over a year now, and I've seen our community grow and change, and I'm pretty familiar with most of the members here (though a few of you new guys might not know me). I have experience with resolving problems, and I can promise that I have a good sense of judgment and govern fairly when issues arise. Not only that, but if I am made a Moderator, I promise to the best of my ability, that I will do my best possible to bring new ideas to the table, strengthen and create member bonds, and just make The Bell Tree a generally better place.

Valid point you've got there Alex.

I personally think I'd make a horrible mod.

The only thing I wouldn't do well is in activity.

Seriously, I come like every week with some new mood or something.

Oh, and that I've been pissy to like everyone >_>

Becuase. I am on most of the time. (Especially when no mods are online), and I........ Eh what's the use trying to persuade you? Obviously if I want to become a mod. the reason is I want to become a mod, becaus eI want to become a mod of TBT. That is basicly all I have to say.

I've applied to become a moderator. I did take a bit of time off a few months back, but it couldn't be helped. I've had many things to prepare for this year. Now that I have a bit more free time, I'll be able to perform moderator duties if chosen. Another limiting factor will probably be the fact that I'm not that well known around here. I don't post around that often, and I blend in a bit too much, like mocha in a mocha frappuccino.

You wouldn't be the job. IMO
Why do you think that? That might just be your own opinion, I just knew you were going to say something negative about my post because your so easy to predict on my side of the spectrum now days. LOL

@ -mez: Yes they do, people do have social lives. What im saying is that TBT needs more Mods in ranging in different time zones in general. I'm not saying that they should be on all day, it would be dumb if people did that because they would have no life.

you're not that well known because of your low activity, but most people here can pretty much pick you out from a huge crowd

Males! Your back...again! If you're actually willing to stick around this time, than you'd definitely make a great mod.

Tye, I just can't see you as a good mod. sorry, you just seem like the kind of guy that would get ruined by becoming a mod. it would tale away from your carefreeness. It wouldn't be you, but hey, if you want to go for it, go for it! ;)
This is something I've thought about a lot. As much as I'd love to be a mod, it would mean that I'd have to be less crazy and carefree. Right now, I'm making the most out of being a normal member. Because I don't have any mod responsibilities, I can be myself and do things I couldn't get away with if I was on the staff. That's not saying that I wouldn't "be myself" anymore if I was a mod, it just means that I would be a let a different part of me show more. It's really a tough decision for me...but I'd really like to be part of the staff, not so much for the mod powers, but for the chance to have some say in the direction of the site. I'd really like to do a lot of fun activities for the whole community. Some Animal Crossing events, of course, but also other things, as we all know that Animal Crossing alone can't hold this whole community's interests. Anyway, if I am chosen, I have a lot of things that I'd really like to do, and I think it would liven up this community a lot.
Making this community a more fun place with lots of community activities is the main reason why I'd like to be mod. And I'm very mature (most of the time, I do like to have some fun, though, like everyone), I have experience with the ZetaBoards software (I ran my own forum, Nintendonic, for a short time), and I have a boyfriend who's an expert at forum software and has years of experience of being forum staff, and he's always there if I would ever need help (not saying that I can't do the job on my own, but having someone else who's an expert can't hurt, can it?).

I wish I would've saved my application... It was, like, 5,000 characters long. XD

I can see Tye as a mod but it might get annoying with some VG discussions

Why would that even be a problem if I was mod? It's not like I'd ban all discussion on video games that aren't made by Nintendo. XD =P

xela. you would be a good mod just a Grawr type :P

It's not about if you have a temper or get annoyed at the end of the day, it's if you make the right decisions when dealing with people.

The problem is...

I'm worried about some people on here becoming mods. There are those people that don't like them and if they become a moderator, then they might use that power for revenge.
You make me laugh, sir.
