Would you trade TBT for NMTS?

I honestly don’t understand the hype about TBT. I’d much rather collect in-game items rather than TBT. The only reason I even want TBT is so I can buy in-game stuff from people here.
I personally wouldn’t need to purchase NMT as I don’t do any villager hunting since I have amiibos... but I liked the idea someone else said which was to sell your nook mile items! I also have the blue airport!
But yeah, set up a thread and list all of your items, you’ll definitely get some buyers! :D

I can buy collectibles with tbt I can buy an animated avatar with tbt. Tbt is the best currency to trade with.

Yeah I get what you can do with them. I guess I just don’t care about that stuff. I care more about my in-game progress than I do about my status on this forum ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes I would, just i haven't gone about it yet, I'm always look forward to island hopping so the more the merrier NMT honestly!

I'm assuming people do this trade on The Airport section? Just for future reference as trading some TBT for NMT is something I'd wanna do! :)
 
At the moment, nope! I have a lot of nook miles that I've just been (unintentionally lol) hoarding so I don't really need to buy NMTs.
 
I've traded for NMT before. Its handy for when I want to trade on Nookazon. I try to stay away from that place, but I am able to get things a lot faster there than I am able to here on the forums.
 
during the game’s first few months, i traded tbt for nmt quite a few times since i didn’t have much nor did i have too many nook miles to spend aha. but now, since i have around 1,000 nmts taking up space in my storage, i definitely don’t see myself buying any more with any currency anytime soon aha
 
I used to do it before.

However, doing those island hopping sessions taxes both your sanity and patience. I highly not recommend to do it.
 
If you had asked me in May, I probably would have said yes. But since I no longer need many NMTs for villager hunts (and the supply/demand seems way lower) and TBT seems to be the main currency here now, I wouldn't give up my TBT for NMT. Especially since they're easy to save up for. I have hundreds of thousands of nook miles I've not even redeemed yet!
