Would you take your Dreamie with a modified or basic house?

With auctions and giveaways happening for villagers all the time, would you bid or take your dreamie if they weren't in their house with their original furniture?

For example, my dreamie is Pierce! He's a jock, so he might come with the basic house that came with starting the game if I traded someone with Pierce as their first villager. For me, that would be a no! I can't stand the basic house, but if it was a Pierce that came from a NMT island with modified furniture, I'd be ok.

How about you? How much does the house matter for your dreamies?

The basic houses aren't a problem for me. I've been working hard to change my starting villager's houses with unique furniture I feel like they'd enjoy. I don't think they're able to put up wallpaper or flooring though, which is a shame.

Yes, if I liked a villager I would take them no matter their house.

pretty sure they go back to their normal house when they move islands. regardless, the answer is yes for me, never have really cared much abt how villagers houses look

I can confirm that they will have their regular interior when traded to someone else!

I used a second copy of the game to get Audie and trade her to my main town. In the fake town she had the default peppy house, but when she moved to my main town she came with her normal interior.

i don’t really mind modified houses as long as it’s not super cluttered. i don’t mind the basic houses, either, as i can always gift them furniture in hopes they’ll display it instead

As long as their clothes are normal then I dont care how I obtain the villager or what their house looks like.

Oh no someone told me they would keep their basic house. I had Merangue moving out and I would have loved to have given her to someone.

I've heard reporting the villager to Isabelle will reset the clothes to default! So if that ever happens to you that could work

I'd prefer their normal homes, but I wouldn't turn down a villager over it, probably!

I dont care too much about their homes to be honest. I get the villager for the villager!

Yeah it really bother me, eventually all 5 of my villagers will have to move out (can't I just move them back in and get their normal home)? But by the time that happen a year or two down the line, I would have over 400 NMT and won't have a problem getting them back. Fuchsia is my #1 dreamy and someday I will see what her real home look like.

If the villager was truly a "dreamy," then I would take them no matter what and gift them unique furniture.
