I was imagining a cool action scene for some of the characters and them going on a mission, unrelated to the fact the original game was going to be an RPG very early in it’s planning/dev. So it made me think, what if there was an RPG spin-off game (or mini-game similar to how Desert Island Escape worked) where you chose your team and go on a quest/mission to save people or something, who would your team be and what would their abilities are? On top of that, what do you think the plot would be, how do you think it would work?
It would be cool if it happened, but it is unlikely. So I guess this would be more creative thinking and “what ifs?”
My team would be
Wilbur- Confidence or Leadership - Team leader
Blathers- Courage (He faces his fear of bugs often, I assume, he has a whole spot in his museum for them) - flight
KK (or Tom) Calmness (or smarts) - Music
Mabel - Teamwork- Protection (Quils, I’m sure she can do something with that)
Isabelle - Optimism - Healing
Lottie - Hard working - Swimming
You can choose however many you think would be a cool team, this was just my idea of one (Maybe a little inspired by the Mane 6 and their elements from MLP). That’s just who I think I’d choose.
I know how unlikely an Animal Crossing RPG would be, but it would be fun! Hopefully we’d be able to play with the NPCs without Amiibo cards (maybe they can unlock things instead)
So, what do you think an AC RPG would be about and who would your team be?
