Would I look good with short hair?

So I've never had my hair shorter than at my shoulders but I really like the look of Rena Ryuugu's (from Higurashi) hair. But I'm not sure if it would look good or not. Sometimes hairstyles can look nice on other people but look crap on you. xD

Anime hair is meant for anime. Like Mariah said, you'd suit short hair, but don't go giving a hair stylist a photo from an anime lol.

It's all personal preference, but I think you'd suit long hair more.

As for choosing my hairstyle, I just keep my hair the same length (just above the elbows). I either straighten it or make it wavy. I'm scared to try getting my hair cut shorter in case I end up regretting it. I've been told I suit long hair more by most people though.

It looks like you have a round face shape, though it's hard to be sure since you're smiling in the pic. But yeah round faces are the best for short hair! :3 Like the others said, try to find a real life ref if you can

the only thing is that I don't recommend that hairstyle
(my friend got something similar, and she ended up hating it. Anime hairstyles don't usually translate well in real life)

My friend has a similar hairstyle to that anime picture. It will age you, just so you know. Which won't really go with your baby face.

You could pull off short, but not that cut. Try asking your stylist what short hair cuts they recommend.

So I don't think you should listen to the people telling you that anime hair should stay in anime. I think you would look fine with a hair style like that. I think you would look good with short hair, period.

I think the specific hair style you're going for works better on Slender faced people?
Like a pointer face looks great with this hairstyle.
I dont think you should just cut off your hair all at once because if you hate it well rip, Gotta spend the next year or so to grow it back u.u, I would start by cutting it by 2 inches and see if you like it.

Personally I think you look beautiful with long hair, I have short hair myself and I like it but at times I wish I had long hair again and re growing it is annoying, also dont thing a rena hair cut would suit you, maybe a something a little longer

It's not real hair on a real person's specific face shape. It's not going to come out like it looks in the anime, and that's what people are saying.

You are a pretty girl though, so you probably can`t go wrong either way. Maybe ask your closest friends/family, they know you really well and can tell better probably.

I wouldn't go too short. I say that because short hair made my round face look fat. (Thank God it grew fast! LOL) The best thing to do is cut your hair in stages. Take off a few inches, then go a little shorter, and so on.
