Worst Building on Main Street?

The ugliest is the finally upgrade department store. It looks like a circus.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! The T&T Emporium is so garish. Makes me miss Leif's happy Gardening Store...

I don't use Shampoodles lol. I went in there once to change my hair after unlocking it and it has been the same ever since. I also rarely go into Kick's now that I've completeled the socks and shoes section in my catalog.

I like Katrina's shop but it does seem a little pointless if you have the lovely phone or just only need your fortune told when you're having a bad luck day and are tripping a lot.

I don't really care for the final design of the department store either. It doesn't really fit the theme of a small-ish island town, haha.

I only go to Katrina's if I'm having the kind of bad luck day where you're constantly falling on your face.
I haven't gone into Kicks since I got all of the shoes I wanted - the selection is pretty small.

Katrina's?I can just use the lovely telephone in Flora's house for free. I know that's not a convenience for everyone but still.

For the function: Katrina's. I only got her shop unlocked for completion.
For aesthetics: Club LOL. I hate how it's so tucked in :/ i think it was a lazy design and could have been made very nicely as a nice building sticking out like all the other ones. It's too sheltered

I do use Katrina when I want to check what type of fortune I'm having. The lovely phone doesn't give that information.

I agree, T&T Emporium is decorated like a circus. I haven?t been to Kicks in ages because I have all of the stuff in my catalog. I visit Katrina everyday because she sometimes talks about the NPCs and says strange things^^

I really hate how the sign disappears when you get to the very bottom of the stairs. It's very jarring. I wouldn't have minded if it disappeared sooner or not at all. I mean, it doesn't really block anything. I can tell that I'm going through a door...

Does she?? Hmm...I've never experienced this but it's interesting, now I want to visit her and see. lol
I like when the villagers and NPC's talk about each other. I wish there was more story behind characters in the game.

Katrina's Fortune-Telling Shop is the worst building without question. The only purposes she had going for is to obtain two exclusive items that can be ordered and her not taking up the "visitor of the day" spot anymore, the latter of which is helpful to raise the odds of Gracie appearing in your plaza. Otherwise, the building is completely useless as long as you managed to claim the Lovely Phone, which is obtainable during August's Fireworks Days.

I also feel like that Kicks should be merged with the Able Sisters, given that his inventory is ridiculously small and doesn't even upgrade once. This place is just a couple of useless loading screens.

Kicks is probably my most useless Main Street store. Not that his character isn't adorable or anything, but his store could just easily be merged into the Able Sister's store with the rest of the clothing. The selection is so small, and I only have about six pairs of shoes that I actually even ever have my mayor wear.

I'm probably not going to upgrade my T&T all the way, since I think it's ugly, too. I love the exterior of the Super T&T

I can't stand Katrina. I only built her shop to complete Main Street. Now that that's out of the way, I don't have to look at her ugly face again. LOL. I also don't go to Kicks. There are very few shoes and socks I like and I have them all.

While Kicks is my favorite character, I'm gonna go with his store. There's just no need. I only go in there to look at his cute face.

Shampoodle, Katrina's place, Club LOL and Kicks I've barely went to, especially kicks. I guess you could buy shoes at Gracies or stick to one pair of shoes for the rest of the game and occasionally change it. Who needs to get fortunes anymore since Katrina has a store now, it seems pointless and on bad days it doesn't matter unless the tripping is on your nerves. For shampoodle people usually stick to one hair style or wear a wig for a long time and once in awhile change the color or new hair. Club LOL I just go for the Live until I run out of songs I want which had already happened. So I don't go to those stores any more or just when I made a new outfit every like four months sometimes a year at most. I still don't see the use in Katrina's shop, it's a waste of time unless you really want her for one hundred percent completion for mainstreet. I don't have her because it seems like a waste of time and bells.
