AHHHHHH I love Apollo so much but I forgot about plot resetting and he MOVED RIGHT INTO THE MIDDLE OF MY ORCHARD AHHHHHH. Now I have to find another 20 by 7 area to start all over in!

What's the worst bit of luck you've ever had? Whether it be an accidental reset or jerky visitor. Make me feel better!!

Same thing for me.

Once when Stitches put his house right in front of mine and Tia put her house in the worst spot ever as well..

Kevin moved in...right when I was going to get one of my dreamies from a player here. He was alright, but after that I disliked him a tiny bit~
Another unlucky thing is I had completely forgotten a fish I needed to catch for the musuem and had to wait for months! I get its a game to not rush, but it irritated me enough to get stressedt about it.

I feel your pain. I’ve had so many times where a neighbor has destroyed my beautiful paths or garden areas. I would have to keep TTing to get my neighbors in decent areas.. it’s awful. :|

My worst luck was when I was doing the villager trick to get Fuschia to move in, but then she moved in in a bad spot, as I was making a mini campground there, or when I had a brand new town with 3 mice and 2 sheep

Second day of a new save file and a villager moved in right on top of my ONLY perfect fruit tree.

i have my share of it too!! the very first time i started, i placed my mayor's house next to the cliff so i can have some privacy. the next day klaus moved in right between me and the cliff. there was JUST enough space for his house. i didn't know of the plot reset or amiibo scan so it bummed me so much. lol i eventually restarted after 2 days.

on this current town, before i knew of the plot reset as well, i scanned in tia and papi and they moved in right behind me and to the right of me. i was like no!! but yeah, they just move in to the worst place usually. previously the villagers were trying to plot their houses right in front of the campground entrance. i'm like, no. hahaha

I think every single person has had their share lol. What's funny is when Apollo moved in on top of my orchard I'm in the other room screaming like a 40 something soccer mom who got the wrong order at Taco Bell. My boyfriend comes in like "BABE OMG WHAT'S WRONG??" and I launch into this hysterical tirade about what had happened and how long it took me to make the orchard and line it up with my fountain, all the while he's just sitting there staring at me like I have three heads.

In the end, 10 minutes later when I'm done raving, he just slowly backs out of the room like "I'm gonna give you a few minutes"

LMAO

Haha that is funny, although I definitely feel the anger. I am usually really good about timing when they will move in and such, but I messed up on Greta, She actually was a random move in and I was like cool, one more person that I can move out so I can cycle my dreamies back in. Then I realized that she was the one I was trying to get to move in. In the end I kind of like where she put her house, the location fits her exterior, interior and her over all attitude. She is secluded away from all other villagers by a water fall that feeds into the ocean. All around her is a bamboo forest and nice bamboo paths. She honestly seems like a cranky old witch that lives off in the forest, almost like someone you'd come to for potions or fortune telling. In the end I'm not that mad anymore. Although this did happen 2 or 3 years ago ... i have had a lot of time to let it go, I guess.

It's all good. Having a dream villager move into a bad spot happens to the best of us rofl.

When I moved in Tybalt, I didn't even think of plot resetting/covering the ground in patterns. I wanted my town to be a bit more natural and to let my villagers move in where they wanted. I was naive and felt that if I truly believed in them, they would do right by me. Yeah, that went out the window quick. He plopped down right in front of my house. I'm over it now, and I kinda like having a big muscular tiger as my "bouncer" - works out well since literally no one bothers walking past his house so the net result was more privacy for me.

I don't landscape until I get all my dreamies (I have ten dreamies) so it's not really a problem for me.

Klaus and Truffles blocked the bridge, though. I don't want either of them, and Truffles is gone now, so after I get Klaus out, the bridge problem will be fixed.

All of the villagers I plan to keep are actually in a good spot. Marshal picked a comfy spot near the river, Molly's house is right next to mine... The only house I have a problem with is Fang's because his house is directly in front of the train station. I'm probably going to get his card so I can kick him out and reset his house elsewhere.

Getting a villager you really like but the house is on a spot where you actually wanted to build a PWP.
I had this problem so many times, and I always decided to move out that villager when I don't find a
better place for the PWP (in almost all cases, it was either the campsite or the cafe). It kinda sucks
when you let that villager, which you normally want to keep, go but at least you can get that villager
back one day.

Just keep saying this to yourself.

"Don't forget..
To plot reset".

I've had half my town taken out by random move-ins, before I knew about plot resetting.

I've had villagers move behind, beside, AND in front of me. O_o
