Wisdom Teeth

So I just talked to my dentist today and it looks like my wisdom teeth have to come out.

So....what exactly happens :brrrr:

I mean i've looked into it but i'm not entirely sure what goes on during the surgery and afterwards, has anyone had there wisdom teeth taken out yet? Is it painful, uncomfortable, should I be fearing for my life? >_<

You get sleeped cause they hurt so bad when pulling out. When there out, Your mouth hurts badly.

/my friend did, they injected her gum with a numbener first and she couldnt feel anything for the rest of the day...

But you wont get surgery unless it is in terrible condition.

I juust had this spacer that I had in my mouth for about a year taken out yesterday, it was really annoying, but my dentist said I didn't need it anymore good luck with the Wisdom Teeth surgery!

I had a check-up a week ago and they said it should be fine but yeah I just got a call this morning about it, luckily it won't be until April....

Ehhh, the only part that hurts is when they put a needle in the inside of your cheek. Nothing hurts besides that,...well besides afterward.

Well i've calmed myself down a bit, at first I was wigging out but it looks like the procedure is pretty simple, relatively painless (except afterwards) and usually only takes a few minutes plus it's not for another 2 and a half months so I have plenty of time to worry about it later

I had them taken out last year. I asked for them not to put me to sleep. I'm too sexy to be so vulnerable. And it didn't really hurt. Only thing I hated was the bleeding.

That made me laugh.
I'm not worried about it really.......needles/blood/pain dosen't scare me.
In fact I enjoy them.

They basically cut in your gums to take out your teeth. Annnnd then they put stitches in and after about......a week you go back and get the stitches taken out...then you're pretty much good to go D

My sister had her wisdom teeth taken out. It wasn't so bad. =D

And I once had about eight teeth pulled out at once to make room for my braces, the injections of novocaine hurt worse than the actual procedure. XD;;

lol id rather have a couple wisdom teeth pulled i had 14 teeth pulled at one time i looked like a old man my mouth was bleeding for 5 hours and i couldnt swallow spit cause of all the bleeding ( i just stood by the sink for like 5 hours bleeding) IT SUCKED...but your only getting like 4 wisdom teeth pulled right????

it hurt when i got braces well not when getting them on but after the fact.. when i get mt wisdom teeth out its going to hurt so bad i cant stand pain >.< so if braces hurt then that def. going to hurt for me :[
