Will you try to finish/tidy up your island this week?

hecc no lol, I've still got a lot of work to do. I'll just upload my town as-is and people can appreciate all the things that I have finished so far

Personally, I don't even think of "finishing" my island anymore. I had that mentality at first but I realized it REALLY limited the game for me. I mean, once I was "finished", then what...? I'd be SO bored. And what if a villager moved in who didn't "fit" with my finished island? I prefer thinking of my island as dynamic- it's always changing and being "improved". The carnival area I have now could easily be converted to a neighborhood. My farmer's market could easily be a fall festival (which it 100% WILL be come spooky season ). It all depends on the seasons and my mood!

That being said, I'll definitely be tidying up! I need to figure out something to do with my third top tier cliff... Part of it is a lookout over the lighthouse, but now that I've moved my haunted house, IDK what else to put there I'd LIKE to eventually put a Cafe, but we'll see. I've got time, though, since I'm currently TTing back in Spring, and I'd like to come back to Summer first.

Part of me just wants to leave it as it is and show more of the process of my town but this is also a good reason to clean up my flowers off beach. I worry ill regret getting rid of a flower ill later need so idk, im on the fence. Either way, i cant wait to start dreamingg

Nah, not really. I'm not pressured to make my island presentable to please others. I'll stick with what makes me happy!

Most of my island is pretty clean and finished until future updates, but I will tidy up my weeds and make sure I have no extra stuff lying around before I upload it.

Mine is already done, so no worries there. Though, it wouldn't matter if it was finished or not, I don't design my island for others to enjoy.

I'm going to set what is now to be what i seen in the dream. Every time there's a noticeable update, I'll update the dream as well.

I always try to free my island with unwanted flowers while also fixing the weeds on my farm, dig fossils, break the single rock (I haven't thought about where to place that one) and remove tree branches everyday.

I have been working on this for the past month. needing more bells to finish moving houses though. but good news most of my flowers are gone so after my houses are moved my beaches can actually spawn bait clams. now i have diys everywhere to get rid of

I'm in the same boat as a lot of others here, I'm in no rush. As nice as it is for people to see my town nice and presentable, I'll definitely need the time to make it so. I'd rather take my time and keep it a mess for a while longer than rush and be potentially unhappy with it! If I'm happy with it, others will be! ☺

My island is going to be pretty much deserted when the update comes in, so no. Plus I’d say my island will be the opposite of tidy when I’m done with it anyways...
