Will they still move out?

Okay so Henry wants to move out on the 28th.
I have 10 villagers so him going would make 9.
If I used an Amiibo card to move someone else out and have my Amiibo character move in, would that stop Henry from moving out? If I wait for him to leave and then use the card my town will stay at 10 so if he wont leave still then I might as well use the card to make him leave early.
(I want my Amiibo villager to move in, and I want Henry gone, and I want only 9 people living in my town in case I get the chance to have somone I really want move in)

if you use your amiibo card and switch a villager before henry leaves, he should still leave without a hitch!
