will my game transfer to a new 3ds?

hi!! so i have the animal crossing 3ds xl right now, but i ordered a majoras mask new 3ds xl.. my question is! since the game came pre-downloaded onto the 3ds, would it transfer along with everything else to my new one? i dont want my game to be wiped out ;v;
edit: its not a physical copy, its a download that came on it when i bought it because its the animal crossing edition. sorry for the confusion!!

if it's.a physical copy it will still load as the data you played in the other ds.

You can do a system transfer to transfer everything from one 3DS to another. I have the digital version of the game and this worked for me when I bought a new 3DS XL. You can find more information about it here:

ah thank you! i was just confused because i read somewhere that if it came pre-downloaded (as in, as soon as you get it its already on there) it wont transfer??

Huh, I haven't heard anything about that. I can't say I'm entirely sure how it works with pre-downloaded games then... Maybe someone else knows more about that?
