Will amiibo villagers remember you if they move out?

If I have a natural villager move out, but then scan her amiibo card, will they remember me and act like they are "back" on the island?

Villagers scanned back in through amiibo will be a clean slate and won't remember you. They will remember you though if another person adopts the villager and you get the villager back from that person.
