Wii U Price Drop

It seems that the Wii U's price has dropped to $299.99 now, I personally believe this is a smart move for nintendo especially since we are reaching the holiday season. I expect the sales of the Wii U to increase immensely because of this price drop. Anyway, how do you guys feel about this price drop?

though the WiiU is on sale near me - and for some reason the monster hunter wiiu bundle popped up so i'm buying that whenever i can be ****ed to.

wasn't planning on buying one until like november but meh

The price could still go down more. The 3DS was completely slashed, and this is only down by a meager $50.

I'm probably gonna wait for the Holidays or if I'm lucky Black Friday to buy one. I want a Wii U but there isn't enough there to warrant the price. I've played Wind Waker like a million times already. I like Pikmin 3 enough and yea nothing else to hold my attention there. I need some rpgs.

I think this was a smart move! I am eagerly wait for Christmas to come around so I can see if my mom would buy it for me or not. I just hope this will convince my mom enough to where she will buy it for me so I can download that Animal Crossing application and get Wii Fit U for free!

There's not enough games that I'm interested in for me to consider picking it up any time soon, but it's certainly a good call.

With the PS4 coming out for $400, they'd probably got worried a bit. Which honestly makes sense, PS4 almost looks like the better buy compared to the old price. Hopefully this cut will get more 3rd parties on board (go die Capcom).

It's one thing to drop your price, but it's another to get people to buy your console when you only have like five games worth playing on it.

Yeah, I was pushing it a bit there. I believe I created this thread late overnight after school on friday and I have a tendency to go overboard when I am tired but I try to keep my posts as normal sounding as possible and not like this...

Yeah, I am doing my 3rd playthrough of Pikmin 3. I like the legend of zelda, but I think I will hold back until later. I'm waiting for Sonic Lost World, Super Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze and Wii Fit U.
