Wii U Download Question

I'm downloading Wind Waker HD right now and since my internet speed is quite slow, its taking forever. I started at 11am and right now its almost 2pm and its only at 10%. My question is, if I turn off and unplug my Wii U, will the download percentage stay?

I think it resets, but I would just turn the TV off but leave the U on. If there aren't improvements in percentage, I say unplug it.

Maybe I didn't come across clear.

Right now its at 30% and its almost 4pm. Eventually I will have to go to sleep and the internet will be off, and I am certain that the download cannot be completed in those 12 hours of the day that I'm awake, so I wanted to know if I turn it off if it will be there the next day.

Maybe? I haven't tried so I have no idea to be honest. Usually whatever I download is finished within an hour.

You probably already found out by now, but it will stay at that percentage. I did it with Pikmin 3 when it came out.
