I wouldn't want Sahara to do only exclusives. I think it would be too easy to get rare items and would discourage a mechanic in the game that does help you get exclusives - feng shui.
Additionally I don't even like most exclusives. But I'm using feng shui anyway so I get at least one, usually two, exclusives when Sahara visits. I can't remember the last time I got two non-exclusive items.
I never care about Feng Shui. Every time I try it, it does nothing to me in-game. I'm not sure if it only applies to one room only or what, but the items I use don't even contribute to it.
And yes, I prefer if the next Animal Crossing game got a lot easier. I know you guys are getting tired of Nintendo making their games easier, but Animal Crossing isn't a 3D platformer, RPG, or adventure game.
I think the best option would be what the person before me suggested. Maybe when you see Sahara she could ask afterward "you are satisfied, yes?" to which you could reply "no" and maybe she can give you a list of 4 items and you could choose one for her to bring for you next time you meet but for a little extra cost - maybe 5 or 10k bells.

I don't mind so much the orderable carpets and wallpaper..
I wish Sahara would have some taste and when she does your interior she either gives you both wall and floor of a set, or walls and floors that generally coordinate.
- And they could be orderable and non-orderable that look good together.
I dread opening my house to see her random combinations.![]()

Someone on GameFAQs told me the same thing when I suggested getting rid of the group mechanic (which made some items sold very infrequently). I understand the fact they want to encourage trading to make the game more interactive, but they don't even realize:
-How infrequent some items are being sold in some towns (when they're sold a lot more often in others)
-How frequent you get Nookling items from Saharah (don't even get me started on the Common Wall or Common Floor)
-How rare the Cardboard Set and Sloppy Series items appear in the Re-Tail and Police Station
-How difficult it is to get the Snowman Series
-How rigged Featival? and Bunny Day are (like how grand prize tickets are more common than winning tickets with a worthless prize)
Yeah the thing where some items being sold in some towns over others is a holdover from WW, iirc. Each item had a value given to it, where it was in Group A, B, or C. If your town was group A, you'd have a higher chance of finding items in Nook's shop from Group A. Increasing your house's feng shui would increase the chance of other group items showing up.
I don't think I've ever seen the Cardboard or Sloppy items in Re-Tail or the Police Station smh.
I thought you could reorder the Common Wall and Common Floor?
