why does my DREAML CODE keeps changing ???

More or less every week I update my town's dream. Did so also today...

And yes, also today I got another dream code, which is very frustrating.

This has happened at least 8 times the last year.

Thus: I think 8 different dreams of my town are available and I have no longer any idea how many people "visited".

Can someone please explain WHY this happens ?

From what I understand,this can be caused by updating your town's dream on two different 3DS's,getting an unfavorable rating for your dream town or not updating for a long period of time.This was happening with one of my towns because I updated on my other 3DS by mistake.

my dream hasn't been updated on another DS, I play my game on the AC - 3DSXL (the game is integrated)

since I just said I update every week, it only leaves open the option of a person, who for some reason, likes to rate negatively...


gosh... really ??? so, I have to change my signature every single time a person decides not to like my town ?

I've read on another board that it can also be caused by updating your dream with a different character or by changes in your router settings but there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer.

yes, would make sense but I only use one and same router and as far as I can tell, it's settings have always been the same...

I also update only w/ my mayor character...

come on folks, what am I doing wrong - where are all these AC-experts who know everything informatics-wise ?


can somebody please tell me how many versions of my town are on the "dream suite net" (Paarl - Patrice) ?

I feel your pain.It's very frustrating to have it change so much.I have had over 2000 visiters in my JOY town.At least thats the amount that I know of.It's been changed three times.The only reason I can think of is someone saying they don't like my town.It annoys me that other people can cause your address to change.I always say I had a nice dream, even if I didn't think it was so great.I wouldn't want to do that to other people.

My Critters town was changed three times in a month.Luckily my farm town still has the same address it started with.I get worried every time I update.

and really one disliker amongst 2000 likers (like thegreatbrain, above) can cause this... come on, is Nintendo so sadistic ?

There are 6 of your town on the list, plus one more that seems to have one more space between the town and mayor name for some reason. So 7 versions total.

Ah, I see. Makes sense.

Excluding that first town, there are 6 versions of your town available.

There's only one other town named Paarl, I think I remember it being owned by Mayor Lester.

yes was surprised to read that too (Lester)... thought was going to be the only one, since it's the name of an actual rather small city in South Africa (written not in English as it is today after Mandela, but written in Afrikaans, the old Dutch way)
