Why do villagers change shirts :'(

Ugh im so annoyed. My villagers keep changing their shirts to random ones Ive mailed to other villagers to wear because they changed their shirt and it's a MESS. I wish there was a way to just have them stay with the shirt I mailed them 10 times to finally wear :l Ive changed marina's shirt like 4 times already. I think I've mailed Stitches like 15 star tees.

I knoooow. It's so infuriating. Wendy refuses to wear her watermelon shirt. She just places it in her house, and then I have to send her furniture AND her shirt. How problematic...

Sigh it's SO frustrating because once I finally get them to change their shirt the extras I sent end up spreading like a virus

Honestly, they should've had it where villagers put on shirts you mail the first time you send it. Not setting it as furniture, not putting it in their inventory, just WEAR it.

Eh it never usually bothers me because they're free to wear what they want.

I feel your pain, I got Marina the other day and already she has changed her shirt twice. It is infuriating!

Ugh I don't like when they do that. Chrissy is wearing Daisy's kiddie shirt and it looks really bad with her design.

i don't mind as long as is isn't that ugly white default shirt i swear all my villagers are starting a cult

Oh gosh.. this annoys me too. Especially when some random basic shirt just starts spreading throughout town and everyone is just wearing it AND complaining about it! Oh yes.. they all complained to me that their basic tee makes them itchy! Lol.. -__-;

Every time this happens to me, I just complain to Isabelle about them, and then those ugly shirts they wear disappear, usually replaced by a generic gym tee--then you can send them new shirts again and they'll wear it.

I don't mind my villagers wearing different outfits as long as it's a pattern I have up or a shirt I consider cute.
